Terms & Conditions

For Coldmarch at coldmarch.com · Effective July 29, 2026

These terms are the deal between you and Odd Little Games when you use this site and play Coldmarch. They're meant to be readable — the short line under each heading is the gist.

01The agreement

In short: using the site means you accept these terms.

By visiting coldmarch.com or playing Coldmarch, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site or the game. These terms are between you and Odd Little Games (sole trader).

02Who can use these

In short: you need to be at least 13.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the site’s interactive features (like signing up or posting). If you’re under 18, use the site with a parent or guardian’s knowledge. By using it, you confirm you meet these requirements.

03Playing the game

In short: Coldmarch is yours to play and enjoy, not to resell or pull apart.

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play Coldmarch for your own enjoyment. You may not sell it, charge others to access it, reverse-engineer or decompile it, or strip out and reuse its parts, except where the law says you can’t be stopped from doing so.

04What we own

In short: the game, its factions, and its art are ours.

Coldmarch, its code, art, music, text, the Odd Little Games name, logo, and characters are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property law. You’re welcome to share screenshots, clips, and links, and to make videos or streams of playing the game — that’s encouraged. You may not pass our work off as your own or use our brand in a way that suggests we endorse you without asking first.

05Fair use

In short: don’t break, abuse, or misuse the site.

When using our site and game, please don’t:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • try to hack, overload, or disrupt the site or its security;
  • scrape or harvest the site with automated tools beyond ordinary use;
  • upload anything harmful, or misrepresent who you are.

We may limit or remove access if someone uses the site this way.

06Community & contributions

In short: be decent; you own your posts but let us show them.

If you post in our community spaces (such as our Discord or comments), keep it respectful and lawful. You keep ownership of what you post, but you give us permission to display and share it within those spaces so the community works. We can remove content or access that breaks these terms or the platform’s own rules.

07Support & payments

In short: supporting us is optional and handled by Patreon.

Coldmarch is funded by supporters. Any pledges or payments are made through Patreon (or another named platform) and are governed by that platform’s own terms and handled by its payment processors — we never see your card details. Supporting us is voluntary and doesn’t buy ownership of the game or a guarantee that any specific feature will be made. For refunds or billing questions about a pledge, follow the platform’s process; we’ll help where we can.

08Other services

In short: links to Patreon, Discord and the rest run on their own terms.

Our site links to services we don’t control — Patreon, Discord, Bluesky, YouTube, our host, and others. We’re not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their terms and privacy policies.

09No warranties

In short: the game is provided as it is.

We put care into Coldmarch, but we provide the site and game “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise the site will always be available, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

10Liability

In short: we’re a tiny studio; our liability is limited, but we don’t dodge what the law won’t let us.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Odd Little Games is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or lost enjoyment arising from your use of the site or game. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law.

11Changes & availability

In short: the game and terms can change; check back for updates.

We may update, pause, or retire features, and we may change these terms. When we change the terms we’ll update the effective date at the top, and continuing to use the site means you accept the new version. We’ll try to flag significant changes through the site or our channels.

12Governing law

In short: the law of England & Wales applies.

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes will be handled by its courts. If you’re a consumer, you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.

13Contact

In short: one email reaches us.
